Ah! Fourth Marking Period

Wow! I can’t believe that spring break is over already. My spring break was very busy. With softball every day I really couldn’t do a lot of things. Well after numerous practices we had our first game against Cardinal McCarrick. It was a close game. Going into the last inning the game was tied and bases loaded and I was up. I got up and hit the ball right between the shortstop and 3rd base. I ended up getting the game ball! My friend Kayla Klein also got the game ball; she did an amazing job as our pitcher. We ended up winning 5-4. Our next game was against JFK. Since I came from public school I was excited to play this school, because I knew some people. Our team is mostly freshman and JFK’s team was all sophomore and juniors. Well, we got killed! So I’m not going to talk about this game anymore =/. But these games were just scrimmages so it’s okay. Well, with the 3rd marking period ending everyone is getting excited about summer. But it’s also nerve racking because our freshman year is almost over!
