This past weekend was our last away forensics meet of the year. We spent the weekend at the University of Pennsylvania and one of the former forensics members came back to judge and be with the team. We have one more meet this month, one of the last opportunities to qualify for nationals. Because the Senior Retreat is that same weekend, my partner will not be able to debate with me. My friend Sean will take his place, in hopes that he and I will partner for next year’s debates.
Just as a side note, two of my best friends, Jenna and Brian, will be traveling to Spain this summer for three weeks to study and travel the country. In our Spanish 3 Accelerated program, we are given the opportunity to go to Spain for the summer before our senior year. They are incredibly excited and nervous at the same time. It is going to be a great experience for them, possibly coming back completely fluent in Spanish! Since we are have a Spain project this year and are learning the culture, history, and geography of Spain, they will be prepared to travel the country. After they come back in the end of July, I’ll tell everyone about their experience.
