Last Thursday, the open house was held at the school and was a huge success. Throughout the night, there were countless times when people would come up to Erin and I at our stand and ask “what is a blogger? Is it like a club or something?” and this was somewhat a hard question to answer, because they looked at us as if they were lost. On the other hand, people came up to us and told us they read our blogs every week, which was really cool to hear.
So in all the blogs that we write, we talk about everything happening at UC and all the good stuff about our lives at the time. But just because we talk about all this great stuff doesn’t mean that we are like, invincible and nothing bad happens. You have the normal stuff going on like you do everywhere, drama with friends, stress over a huge amount of homework or a big test coming up, arguments with your significant other, school conflicts, or any type of pressure. This past weekend, I got into a pretty big fight with one of my best friends, and we are slowly trying to move past this. Even when something happens that we don’t plan or hope for, not only in school but in our everyday lives, we have to think the positive and try to move past the conflict. You stress yourself out worrying so much about it, and that isn’t good for you at all. Not everything can always go peachy, but there is always a way to make it better. Something you will learn in high school is a way to move past all the bad stuff, and move onto the good stuff.
