For the past two Wednesdays I have been participating in the phone-a-thon at UC. A bunch of people get together and we call alumni and ask them to give a gift to the 2008-2009 annul fund. I really enjoy working school functions; I use to be at every single one in middle school. The best phone calls are when you call an alum and they donate for the first time! I had one older man on the phone for 20 minutes and we just talked about baseball and how softballs starting soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He ended up giving me a 125 dollar donation ~ I was so excited! The donations given by our alumni help our sports, clubs, academics, technology, and just UC in general. It’s a great cause and a great way to get in school spirit!
